Point City Athletics is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship and teamwork in West Point, MS, offering baseball, softball, basketball for youth of all ages. P.C.A., established since 2019, endeavors to continue building the youth of this city and region.

Our baseball and softball programs, formerly known as the Point City Rippers, have partnered with national brand, Rawlings Tigers, to bring even more notoriety to its superstar athletes.

P.C.A. has youth basketball teams for many age groups. The teams play as the Mississippi Heat. These teams have been together for a few years and travel across Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee to compete. More teams will be launching in 2025.

Point City Athletics also desires to keep the adult citizens of West Point active, therefore developing the Church Basketball Association. MEET THE COACHES

Cierra Jackson

For me it all started at the age of 7. I played city league softball and developed a passion for the game of softball. This passion remained in me through Jr. High, High School, and College. I received several awards during my playing career including MVP in both high school and college; All-District Defensive Player; Best Defensive Player; Most Versatile Player; 2x Defensive Award; 3x All-District Award and many others.

I truly enjoyed my time playing the sport, and since marrying and having kids, I have returned back to the game I love. Now with a new passion and purpose, to teach and train young girls to become elite softball players. So bring me your girls!! I'm ready!!

Alex Jackson

I'm Coach Alex! My love for coaching is deeply rooted in my own experiences with sports. Growing up, I was passionate about athletics and played throughout Junior High. Unfortunately, a heart condition kept me from fully participating in High School sports and beyond. Despite this setback, I was fortunate to have amazing coaches who believed in me and kept me involved in the game. Their encouragement and support fueled my passion for sports, and now that I'm fully healthy, I'm committed to giving back. I dedicate my spare time to mentoring young athletes, guiding them with the same belief and motivation my coaches provided me. It’s a privilege to shape the next generation and help them realize their potential, just as my coaches did for me.
